FRED IAN
Fred Ian is a traditional oil painter and character illustrator from France who specialises in hyper-realism paintings on canvas, most renowned for their Marel Unbound Upper Deck collections.
Fred Ian began their professioal career in the comic book industry painting for galleries and exhibitions. They have worked with many major comic book publishers and brands, including Marvel Comics, Upper Deck, Dynamite Entertainment and more, painting comic book covers and comic book trading card art. In 2021, Upper Deck Upper Deck e-Pack announced an all-new weekly Marvel product, Marvel Unbound by Fred Ian. This huge project all began in November 2019, consisting of 56 full sized original oil paintings, 130 original painted sketch cards, and 3,600 signatures. At the end of 2022, Marvel Unbound 2 launched and is currently undergoing weekly release, every Monday on Upper Deck e-Pack. A third huge project for Marvel and Upper Deck is currently undergoing.

Everyone that requests to be added to the waiting list is recorded on a waiting list sheet in contact order. When the next space or opportunity opens, even if we advertise the opportunity, we will first email everyone on the waiting list in contact order first. If you are next on the list, your place will be held for 24 hours after being contacted by email for you to confirm yes or no. If you do not have the budget at the point of the opportunity, you can remain on the waiting list for the next opportunity.
